Is anyone out there who loves cookbooks? I have a ton of them here and always look for more. I am not especially a cook, that is hubby's department but I do love to bake. So recently when I was asked by Brenda if I would do a review/giveaway on this book I accepted.
It has 186 pages of recipes for your enjoyment. Its called The Lazy Gourmet by Robin Donovan & Juliana Gallin.
There is a Measurement Conversion Chart and the Index at the back of the book.

To give you an idea what all is in this book, here is a run down of the table of contents.

The recipes. Now talking about recipes here is a good example of what you will find inside this book.


Crispy Baked Rosemary Potatoes

This beyond-easy, unembellished dish never fails to please a crowd. Its like "comfort food plus."
Serve alongside meat, poulty, or fish.

2 pounds small potatoes (Such as red-or-white-skinned new potatoes or Yukon Golds) halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon kosher salt

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
In a baking dish, toss potatoes with the oil, rosemary, and salt until thoroughly coated. Bake in preheated oven, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour, until potatoes are browned and crispy.

Serves 6.
Serve this with
*Grilled, roasted, or braised meats
*Duck Legs in Port Reduction (page 124)
*Steak au Poivre (page 129)

Examples of some of the desserts in this book are
**Poached Pears with Bittersweet Chocolate Drizzle
**Bananas Bread Pudding Foster and **Cherry Clafoutis.
