Chicken Cacciatore for Dinner!
Food! Its a necessity of our every day life. We need food to survive and each day we have to come up with new ideas for our meals. My husband is a fantastic cook and he loves cooking where with me, I would rather bake. So we make a great pair, he is the cook, I am the baker. Don't get me wrong, I do know how to and I do cook. Its not just hubby. I do my share too.
I do like to find new recipes in cookbooks, online and from my friends. I have come across one new recipe in the last few days and its on my "meals to make" list. It is Chicken Cacciatore. This dish is a rich-tasting Italian classic that's perfect for a chilly night. Skinless chicken thighs keep the fat figures in check and the recipe's combination of mushrooms, tomatoes and herbs provides just the right flavour. Serve chicken cacciatore with polenta and green beans. I think when I try it I just might serve it over a bed of white rice. I think that would be nice tasting too.
We love chicken in our home and eat a lot of it so I am always looking for ways to do chicken up differently. I came across the site http://www.besthealthmag.ca/ and was checking through the recipe section. They have some wonderful recipes there that you just have to check out. When I came to the Chicken Cacciatore recipe, well what can I say? I read the ingredients and I knew I just had to try this one out. Another new way to do up chicken. So this week one of our dinner meals will be this one.
You can find other chicken recipes on the site as well such as Spanish-Style Chicken, Curry Chicken and Rice Casserole and Sky High Chicken and Vegetable Pie.
Also on this site you will find diet tips, healthy eating, nutrition, home remedies, and makeup, beauty tips as well as many other features.
Its well worth checking out and I just know you will be adding new recipes to your "meals to make" list. Maybe you should try out the Chicken Cacciatore recipe first. I am sure you and your family will love it. Enjoy!
