Frito-Lay Fiesta Package~US/Canada Ends May 20 CLOSED

Well Happy Cinco de Mayo day yesterday. I hope everyone enjoyed their day and had fun celebrating.

Lauren from Frito Lay was kind enough to send me a large bag of Tostitos Multi Grain Scoops made with 3 wholesome grains and the Dip Creations Freshly Made Guacamole Seasoning Mix. Now as soon as these products arrived, my husband was right into the Tostitos Scoops. He said they are great. He loves the taste of them although he wasn't sure if he would like them or not. Well obviously he did like them because I am now down to half a bag left.

Frito Lay recently committed to making 50% of its product portfolio with all natural ingredients-meaning no artificial flavors or preservatives and no MSG. This includes all SunChips multigrain snacks, Lay's potato chips and the Cinco de Mayo staple, Tostitos Tortilla chips.

At the Frito-Lay Flavor Kitchen in Plano, Texas, Frito-Lay's team of chefs use real foods and recipes to inspire new flavors of Frito-Lay snacks made with all natural ingredients. They are always working on fun new recipes too- like "New Age Guacamole, which includes the dip mix provided, and Avocado Hummus. Both of these use simple, all natural ingredients and taste great with Frito-Lay chips.




We never did get around to making the Dip but the recipe to make it is right on the package. Here it is.


1. Mash 3 large avocados
2. Add mix, blend and chill for 30 minutes.
3. Keep unused portion refrigerated.
