Now on to the book I have here to give to one lucky winner. Its called With Malice. This is a novel by author Eileen Cook.
A little about the story line:
Two friends, an exotic foreign location, the potential for jealousy and revenge, and an accident that looks like it might have been murder. It didn't matter what the truth was--what matter was that it was fun to talk about.
Eighteen-year-old Jill Charron wakes up in a hospital room, leg in a cast, stitches in her face, and a big blank canvas where the last six weeks should be. She comes to discover she was involved in a fatal accident while on a school trip in Italy three days previous but was jetted home by her affluent father in order to receive quality care. Care that includes a lawyer. And a press team. Because maybe the accident . . . wasn't an accident. Wondering not just what happened but what she did, Jill tries to piece together the events of the past six weeks before she loses her thin hold on her once-perfect life.
"The story is twisty, well-written, and so powerful that I felt as though I was reading about a true crime. Is there anything more complex or vicious than a teen girl? Especially one with secrets."
--Chevy Stevens, NYT best selling author of Still Missing and Those Girls
"Staggeringly smart, just enough sexy, and virtually seamless. Lots of books promise to keep you guessing. Trust me when I say this one really will."
--Terra Elan McVoy, author of Edgar finalist Criminal.
